The Iowa Truck Driving Championships (TDC) is the premier event showcasing the professionalism and skill of Iowa’s top drivers. Held annually at Prairie Meadows in Altoona, the TDC brings together competitors from across the state for real-world driving challenges—while also celebrating the industry with families, colleagues, and supporters.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM (DRIVERS & VOLUNTEERS)
Participant safety is our top priority. The Medical Release Form allows for quick, appropriate care in case of an emergency and provides key health information for first responders. Registered drivers and volunteers must complete this form—guests and spectators do not need to. Click here to complete this brief form prior to Thursday, May 14, 2026.

OVERFLOW HOTEL INFORMATION
Click here to book a room at the Hyatt Place in Altoona, the designated overflow hotel for the 2026 Iowa TDC.  The discounted rate starts at $179 and must be reserved by Sunday, May 10, 2026.

TENT POLICY
If your company plans to bring a tent to the Truck Driving Championships (TDC), the Iowa Motor Truck Association must be notified by Thursday, May 14, 2026. Companies will be notified of their assigned location before the event. Click here if you need to rent a tent from our preferred tent vendor.

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
Click here to become a TDC volunteer.  Volunteers are needed for both days; however, Thursday is a light day for volunteers so everyone may not be placed. Approximately two weeks prior to the event, IMTA will notify everyone with their responsibilities and other need to know information. Please complete this brief form prior to Thursday, May 14, 2026.
