Maintaining a fleet of CMVs is of absolute importance to a thriving transportation company. The time commitment to keep company and driver-owned CMVs running safely and in compliance can be daunting. However, all time spent repairing CMVs is far outweighed by the positive results. Evolving technology on both tractors and trailers is impacting overall fleet maintenance. No one know for certain what CMVs will look like in 40 years, or even 20 years for that matter. However, we can make predictions based on what we know about the present by focusing on the priority at hand --- your day-to-day operations. While this conference provides the essential education to stay up-to-date and in compliance with your maintenance program, it is also a valuable opportunity to develop relationships and benchmark with others to positively develop both your individual success and company's program.

Eric will be sharing about training programs, partnerships, and apprentice programs that gives employees the opportunity to learn a career and potentially become an ASE certified technician. The program is designed to continue education as well as transition from automotive or heavy equipment to Class 6-8 preventive maintenance and repair.

This presentation will include aftertreatment basic concepts and will discuss individual components and their part in the aftertreatment system. The presenters will also be using their diagnostic software to go over “charting” which is a feature inside DDDL (diagnostic link) that is a great and easy way to diagnose and an alternative way to look at our data.
